Was born in Panama, Central America and grew up in
the Panama Canal Area (formerly known as the Canal
Zone) where he began to play baseball at the age of
7. Graduated from Florida State University in 1990.
Moved to Greece in 1996 where he lived on the Island
of Crete until 1998 when due to career obligations
he was transferred to Athens. On May 25, 2002 he married
Stephania Psallida and on March 16, 2003 his daughter
Xrisa was born. In July of 2003 he came in contact
with the team and began practicing after 15 years
of inactivity. He enjoys watching movies, playing
the piano, outdoor activities in general, and spending
as much time as possible with his family.
Status Explanation:
During a Spring time practice, Billy suffered a major
fracture in his right arm that will prevent him from
participating in the 2005 Season. Depending on his
recovery, he might be able to get back in the field
for the 2005 Greek Cup.
