Ainos 6 - 8 Spartakos
Last year's top rivals meet again and in a very close match, Spartakos once more displayed the superior skill level that awarded us with victory.

For Spartakos, Billy Arvanitis was the starting pitcher relieved successfully by Robert Padilla who earned the save. Ainos Keffalonias had just flown in from Canada their star pitcher Brian Sewell who also pitched a great game.

Today we had several beautiful double plays assisted by all of the infield, including pitcher and catcher. However, there was one particular and VERY imprtant play at the end of the 7th, with the score tied at 6 runs, no outs and bases loaded for Ainos, where Panos Heliakis beautifully completed a well crafted TRIPLE PLAY from shortstop. By unanimous decision, his teammates vote him for today's Cool Play of the game.
