And so another season begins with mostly unsurprising results for the first round. It is true we lost some very important players and this could turn out to be our most difficult and yet, most important season... that counts for Nick Iosif, Billy Petkidis, and Chris Robinson... so we have to improvise pitching with fielders. However, on the flip side, we also gained Robert, Elías and yours truly, Alex Alvarez... and as coach Mazarakis says... we're a team and we will manage.

Our game started with a uneventful inning and trying out our outfielder George Vouglitsis at the pitching position. We are pleased with his performance as he stayed consistent throughout the whole game. Needing only 2 runs to finish the game by Mercy Rule, new acquisition Robert Padilla hits a solid homerun with a man on base to seal the game with a golden stamp. Obviously, his teammates vote him for today's Cool Play of the game.
